You are not alone

You're part of a global movement of people sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Your contribution, no matter how small it may seem, is vital.

Whenever you share Jesus, it’s a significant moment. That unnoticed act of generosity, a short prayer or word of encouragement – these are not insignificant.

Jesus said the harvest is plentiful, but you’re not the only worker. You can't do it all - but you can do something - start with the people in your world and if we all do our part, together we will have an incredible impact!

Living as a Christian in everyday life can feel isolating. Perhaps you’re the only Christian at your workplace, or in your family, or all your friends are non-Christians. Christians aren’t exactly the cultural majority anymore. It’s easy to think that, because of this isolation, what you do doesn’t have any impact. That’s not the truth!

We all have a part to play in this ongoing movement of people sharing their faith.

When we talk about Jesus with others, we join countless believers who have been spreading the Gospel since the early church. Think about that for a second: that’s two thousand years of evangelism–a powerful story passed through the hands of an unthinkable number of known and unknown people, notable and faceless saints. Our collective effort is much more significant than any of us individually, and every conversation, prayer, and act of kindness adds to the good work of helping God build the Kingdom.

To fully embrace your role in this movement, it's essential to see evangelism as more than just a single event or a one-off chat. It's about living a life where you intentionally look for opportunities to share Jesus with the people around you.

This can look like explicitly sharing your faith in a conversation, living a life that makes people ask questions about Jesus, and also just living ready for when questions come.

As you do this, you'll start to see it has ripple effects on those around you. Your willingness to share your faith can inspire others to do the same, creating a chain reaction that reaches far beyond your immediate circle. In this way, your small acts of faith make a huge difference in the world.

Being part of a global movement starts with being part of a local movement. To equip yourself to be used by the Holy Spirit, invest yourself into your church community, your connect group, or a bible study. Look for resources to train you in how and why to share Jesus. And spend lots and lots and lots of time with Jesus. Surround yourself with people that will encourage and challenge you.

Take an active part in the yesHEis community. This is a space where we support each other, share experiences and celebrate the impact of people just like you. Together we’re helping the world know Jesus.
