You Don’t Need Perfect Words—Just Your Jesus Story

"Gusto ko naman mag-share about Jesus, pero minsan naiisip ko, ‘Paano kung mali yung masabi ko?’ Parang kulang pa 'ko sa alam sa Bible."
Sound familiar? Hindi ka nag-iisa. Many Christians feel this way—worried they won’t know what to say, or that they won’t be able to answer difficult questions. But here’s the good news: hindi mo kailangan maging expert to share Jesus.
One of the easiest and most powerful ways to share your faith is by telling your own story — your testimony of God's faithfulness in your life.
Hindi lang 'to simpleng kwento—it’s proof that God is alive and active! When you share it, you’re showing the world that He’s real!
Revelation 12:11 says, “They triumphed over him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” That verse tells us something incredible—your story matters. It plays a role in how we overcome darkness. Your story of how Jesus changed your life is powerful—because it’s real, raw, and uniquely yours. And no one can take that away from you.
Are you ready to share how Jesus changed your life so others can find Him too?
You don’t need a script or special training. You just need to reflect on three simple questions:
1. Ano ang buhay mo bago makilala si Jesus?
What were the things you struggled with before? Where did you find validation and fulfillment? What was your mindset about Jesus or faith at the time? Be as candid as possible.
2. Paano mo nakilala si Jesus?
Was it through a friend, a church preaching, or a personal moment? Be specific. Focus on what was happening in your heart, mind, or spirit—not just the event itself. What were you feeling during that time? How was the Lord speaking to you?
3. What is your life like now with Jesus?<0> What’s changed since then? Maybe you've experienced a deeper peace, a renewed sense of purpose, or healing in areas you never thought possible. These changes—big or small—are evidence of God at work in your life.
Even if your story feels simple or still in progress, it matters. Because transformation isn't always loud—it can be quiet, steady, and deeply real. And the best part? You don’t need perfect words or a dramatic story. Just share honestly. Be yourself. That’s often what speaks the loudest.
Here’s an example of how that might sound:
What was life like before you met Jesus?
"Dati, parang may kulang talaga sa buhay ko. Kahit nag eexcel ako sa trabaho at kung anu-anong hobbies na na-try ko— parang kulang pa rin. I kept chasing after these things hoping they would make me happy, but I was never fulfilled. It felt like there was a void I could never seem to fill."
How did you meet Jesus?
“One day, may friend na nagaya sa’kin sa church. Akala ko normal lang na service, but as I listened, it felt like something opened up in my heart. The message spoke to me—about how Jesus died for my sins, how He loves me even at my worst, how we should respond in faith and repentance, and how real life and freedom can be found in Him."
What is your life like now with Jesus?
“Ngayon, mas may peace na ako. Kahit may problema o uncertainties, alam kong hindi ako nag-iisa." Hindi na ako lost, kasi nahanap ko na si Jesus—at sa Kanya ko nakita yung meaning at direction ng buhay ko.”
It’s simple, clear, and relatable. And because it’s personal, it’s powerful.
When you share what Jesus has done in your life, you're reminding others that He’s still at work—still healing, still saving, still moving. That's why you shouldn’t underestimate your story. God can turn your journey into someone else’s breakthrough.
<0>Take five minutes today to write your story down. Then ask God to show you who to share it with. The impact might be bigger than you’ll ever see..
